Representatives from funding organizations (partners) are in charge of developing an international research programme in the field of wood material science and related sciences. They represent the (currently) eight countries in WoodWisdom-Net.
National coordinators invite researchers, industrial leaders and commentators to participate in the different tasks of this consultation project.
Researchers at universities, research institutes or industrial research organisations lead projects and research groups on wood material science and related sciences. They propose and assess research issues.
Industrial leaders manage research or business activities in forestry-related industries. They assess and comment on proposed research issues.
Commentators consist of representatives from different government agencies and non-governmental organisations. They are requested to comment on the intermediate results of this consultation project.
The project team consists of Dr. Leena Paavilainen, the Coordinator of Tasks 2.4 and 2.5, and the research group at the Helsinki University of Technology (TKK).
